STRATTON Helen
An illustration from "The Storks" from Hans Andersen's Fairy Tales. London: Blackie 1905 and many subsequent editions. Although Helen Stratton lived in London she is associated with the Glasgow School of Art, perhaps because her other well known work was the George MacDonald Fairy books. A Sensitive artist whose delightful designs are enhanced by her excellent decorative details.
